Our Story
Founded in 2005 by outdoor enthusiasts Mark and Sarah Thompson, Whistler Summer Camps began with a simple vision: to share the magic of the mountains with young people. What started as a small operation with just 20 campers has grown into the region's premier summer camp destination, serving over 1,000 young adventurers annually.
Over the years, we've expanded our programs to include specialized camps focusing on mountain biking, rock climbing, wilderness skills, and environmental education, all while maintaining our commitment to safety, quality instruction, and personal attention.
Our Values
- Safety First: The well-being of our campers and staff is our top priority in everything we do.
- Environmental Stewardship: We teach respect for nature and sustainable outdoor practices.
- Personal Growth: We create opportunities for campers to challenge themselves and build confidence.
- Inclusive Community: We welcome campers of all backgrounds and abilities, fostering a supportive environment.
- Adventure Education: We believe in learning through experience and embracing new challenges.
